Removing revPhone on openSUSE Leap

Important note for openSUSE Leap users

On openSUSE Leap, KDE Discover behaves differently depending on how it is used.

If you open the RPM file directly (for example by double-clicking the .rpm file), Discover only offers install or reinstall actions.
In this mode, removal of the package is not possible.

This is a known limitation of Discover when handling local RPM files.

Correct ways to uninstall revPhone

✅ Recommended (command line)

sudo zypper rm miaphone

or (PackageKit CLI, equivalent to Discover backend):

pkcon remove miaphone

✅ Graphical interface (recommended)

Use YaST Software Management:

sudo yast2 sw_single

Search for revphone and remove the package.

⚠️ KDE Discover (only via Installed list)

If you want to use Discover:

1.Open Discover

2.Go to Installed

3.Search for miaphone

4.Click Remove

⚠️ Do not open the RPM file directly if you want to uninstall the package.
