Localisation (Country Code)

Please enter for each SIP account the correct "Country Code". The phone checks all existing phone numbers of your contacts. If any of them matches you will get shown the contact Name and Firstname in the Display and in the Call History. The phone number will be shown as Tiptext if you move the Mouse Icon over the phone number in the display.

Remove country code
Only removes the country code that was entered in the edit box „Country code“ (1). The remaining digits are called. This selection is only useful or countries that do not require leading digits for the area code, e.g. "0" in Germany (069).

Replace country code with
Only replaces the country code that was entered in the edit box „Country code“ (1) by the string entered here.

Dialing rule for international calls
Replaces the leading "+" by "00" for outbound international calls. This selection is applicable for VoIP services that strictly require telephone numbers for international calls to begin with "00".

Replace + or 00 by ...
Replaces the leading "+" or "00" for outbound international calls by the string entered here. This selection is applicable for VoIP services or in countries that require a prefix that differs from the common standard. E.g. it is necessary to make a call from the U.S. to Great Britain (+44) by dialing 01144 in lieu of 0044.

Please add the localization to your SIP account(s) by entering the country code for your country!


If your phone numbers in MS Outlook are formatted in the canonical format (for the U.S.: 001, for Scwitzerland: 0041), these numbers cannot be identified without previously executed localization.
